Gary Lipsky

President

Gary has been a real estate investor since 2002 and has invested in over 1900 units with $65MM AUM. Gary is also the Co-Founder of the Asset Management Summit, Real Estate Asset Management Podcast and Co-Author of the book Best in Class. His expertise in asset management is his secret sauce and he started developing those skills at a young age.
Gary got into real estate full-time, and specifically multifamily, at the beginning of 2017. He co-produced three independent films in his twenties. He founded arc, an after school, outdoor education and leadership development company he grew to over $12 million in revenue and over 700 employees while positively affecting over 9,000 students daily throughout Southern California.Gary is also a founding board member of CORE Educational Services, a Los Angeles based non-profit benefitting under-served youth. These endeavors taught him how to build systems, winning teams and handle adversity – skills that have translated well into real estate.
Gary graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, is an alumnus of the Southern California Leadership Network and participated in Vistage, an executive coaching organization, for over 4 years.

Dylan Harrison

Acquisitions & Asset Manager

Dylan has been working on the buy-side of private equity real estate since 2018. In January 2022, he joined Break of Day Capital to oversee the acquisitions and asset management efforts. From 2018 to 2020, in Salt Lake City, Dylan was the lead analyst in the acquisitions and asset management of commercial office properties at Bridge Investment Group in the Southwest markets. Following his time at Bridge, Dylan transitioned to Phoenix working on the acquisitions and development team for Wentworth Property Company.
Dylan graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science – Finance Degree. He later graduated from the University of Rochester – Simon Business School in 2018 with an MBA. He has also passed the three CFA exams and is applying to become a CFA charterholder

Jaclyn Morace

Operations Manager

Jaclyn first got into real estate staging homes and creating a property management company for short term rentals in San Felipe, Mexico. After moving back to the states, Jaclyn worked as an administrative assistant while flipping homes in the Northwest and went on to work for a property management company.
She started working for Gary at APT Capital Group at the beginning of 2021 as an executive assistant before moving over to Break of Day Capital as an Operations Manager where she’s in charge of almost all of the behind-the-scenes happenings.
